Every session
Spark, build, test and tweak, show
Instruction stays short. Most of the time is hands-on. The last ten minutes, every child shows one thing.
Spark
Today's mission in one sentence, and the AI Moment.
Build
Hands-on, in pairs or small teams. The instructor shows once, then circulates.
Test & Tweak
Predict, then press. Find the first wrong step. Fix two things.
Show
Every child shows one thing: two clear sentences, a clip for home, a stamp in the passport.
The AI Moment
One AI idea every week, collected in an AI Passport
A five-to-ten-minute segment in every session teaches one AI idea: how a machine senses, how it learns from examples, why it makes mistakes, what fair means. The ideas are sequenced against the AI4K12 Five Big Ideas and aligned with the seven AI areas in the UAE school AI curriculum. Children collect them as stamps.
- Senses and sensors
- Learning from examples
- Machines make mistakes
- Fair or unfair
- Rules or learning
- Data about me
- Why it made that up
- Who was left out
Safe by design
What we do, and what we never do
We do
- Two vetted adults in every room: police clearance from every country of residence in the last five years, and safeguarding training.
- Written parental consent for participation, for photos and videos, and for sandbox AI access in Builders and Studio.
- Under 13, children never log into public AI tools; the instructor runs AI on the big screen.
- From Builders, students build with real AI tools inside Aivy's own supervised sandbox, with logging and a visible 'you are talking to an AI' notice.
- AI-assisted coding is unlocked only after a hand-coded Code Sense Check.
We never
- Let a child chat with an AI alone.
- Create public AI logins for under-13s.
- Use children's faces to train anything.
- Frame AI as a friend or a companion.
- Share a child's clip with anyone but their own parent.
What comes home
You see the progress every week
- 01
A 60-second clip every week
Your child showing their work, filmed by the assistant and shared only with you.
- 02
A dinner-table question
One question to ask at home that continues what they learned.
- 03
A skills map and an AI Passport
Stickers for the skills shown, and a stamp for every AI idea met.
- 04
A term badge and a portfolio link
Every level ends with a badge and a project in the portfolio. From Builders, a term transcript too.
- 05
A showcase every term
Robot Parade, Makers Fair, Launch Night or Demo Day. Parents come, children present.

Questions parents ask
Straight answers
What ages do you teach?
Ages 6 to 17, in four bands: Explorers (6–8), Makers (9–11), Builders (12–14) and Studio (15–17). Children move up by readiness, not just by birthday.
Does my child need any coding experience?
Not for Explorers (6–8), Makers (9–11) or Builders (12–14): Level 1 assumes none. Studio (15–17) assumes comfortable Python or JavaScript, so new students take a 30-minute placement, and anyone below that bar starts with a four-week bridge. A child who already codes can place into a higher level after a short placement session.
Is it safe for my child to use AI?
Under 13, children never log into public AI tools; the instructor runs AI on the big screen. From Builders (12–14), students build with real AI tools inside Aivy’s own supervised sandbox, with your written consent, logging, and a clear notice that they are talking to an AI. Children never chat with an AI alone.
How much does it cost?
One clear price per 10-week term, VAT included, and one price per camp week. There is no registration, materials or kit fee. The pricing page has every number, the founding-family rate and the policies.
